Follow Lord Buddha's Foot Steps to four most important religious sites

One of the most important places in Buddha's history  we visited is the Bodh Gaya Pagoda where you can sit under the shade of the Bhodi tree at which Gautama gained an enlightenment.

The route we took to visit our destination s appears in the following map.

We left Bangkok from Suvarnaphume Airport and landed at Kolkatta Airport in the state of West Bengals early in the morning. We then took a tourist bus to Bodh Gaya of Gaya district  in Bihar State.
Staying at a Thai Temple for two nights,we began our Dharma Tour by making first site seeing at Sujata Residence.

Our group took a picture at Sujata       Residence  and left for Bodh Gaya Temple

Our second destination is the site of  Guatama Buddha's parinivarana (death) in Kushinnara.

Then we visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Sidhartha Guatama, which is now in Nepal.

Our final destination of the pilgrimage is Saranath in Varanasri of Uttarapradesh State. This is the site where Lord Buddha first taught the Dharma or  "Ovadhapatimokh" which means universal truth teachings. It was all about not to do bad, to do well and to purify one’s mind.

We visited Bodh Gaya Temple, Kushinara, Lumbini, and Saranath during our ten day Dharma tour.
